Events and exhibitions

The Manor House Museum is famed for its programme of exciting monthly events. These use re-enactment, hands-on activities and demonstrations to interpret Leicestershire’s history and archaeology to visitors of all ages. The museum also frequently hosts temporary exhibitions. These have ranged the history of medicine to displays of modern sculpture.

Ship Ahoy - Pirate Banquet - Classics, Donington le Heath Manor House

Donington’s 12th Medieval Mayhem showing how life changed from the 9th to the 15th centuries with 3 re-enactment groups showing craft, costume, games and combat from throughout the period. Free but small charges for activities
