Learn about the customs and traditions of Tudor people during Shrovetide and Easter.

Education Level	Key Stage 2 History
Activities	Meet costumed characters and help them prepare for the festivities surrounding Lent Help out with ‘hands-on’ activities in the Tudor Kitchen and Great Chamber At Shrovetide - learn about the origins of ‘pancake day’ and take part in some traditional pancake tossing At Easter - help out with the annual spring clean, learn about the traditions surrounding hot cross buns and take part in a traditional game of ‘egg walking’
Students	Maximum 42 pupils per day
Cost	£5 per pupil

Activities	As above but spend the whole day undertaking activities with the costumed characters Afternoon activities include Tudor dancing and making marrididdles
