Bringing the Past to Life
Our experienced education team offer a wide range of workshop and outreach sessions
which aim
to make learning fun. Our sessions offer maximum educational value through stimulating learning
experiences and many hands-on activities. Pupils will meet costumed characters and are given household
tasks to help them
learn about the past in an exciting and memorable way.
Donington le Heath Manor House, is a small, secure and friendly site which makes
the perfect setting for educational visits. The Manor House, which dates back to the 13th century, is
a great ‘authentic’ setting to help pupils learn about the past.
Our close links to
Bosworth Battlefield can also help enhance pupils’ Tudor experience
by offering combined visits adding the military experience to the Manor House’s domestic focus.
