School Visits - Objects from the Past

Availability: Various dates, throughout the year.

Education Level Foundation and Key Stage 1
Activities
Pupils gain a hands-on experience of household objects from the past (mostly Victorian).
Pupils investigate objects by matching them to compare and contrast historical objects with objects from ‘today’.
Helps pupils’ to develop their historical knowledge, skills and understanding.
Activities usually involve 1 x 45 minute session (per group), plus accompanying self-led gallery activities.
Half day sessions can also be combined to make full-day visits (please enquire).  
Duration Morning/Afternoon (1 ½ - 2 hours)
Students Up to 40 pupils
Cost All sessions are free of charge
