A Celebration of Charnwood 7 March to 10 May Charnwood Museum is ten years old but some of the collections that support it were started in the 1840s. Curators from across the Museum and Archive services have selected fascinating objects that celebrate the story of the landscape and natural life of Charnwood and, of course, its people. This exhibition has been specially created using objects from the Collections Resources Centre near Barrow on Soar and the display will include paintings, costume, archaeology, toys, household items, objects from the natural world, archives and photographs and items from some of the many crafts and industries of the area. ![]() ![]() |
