Do Something Different in Libraries

Why not take up the challenge?  Stretch yourself and do something different this year.

  • Join your local library, if you are not already a member.
  • If you love visiting the library why not introduce a friend or two to the services we offer
  • Try a different genre or author - Would you love to try some crime fiction, but don't know where to start?  Ask a member of staff for some advice.
  • Try an audio book.  Listen to a good book whilst travelling, gardening, decorating, ironing...
  • Do you want to learn how to use the Internet or email - ask a member of staff at your local library about our taster sessions
  • Use your library to find out more about your local and family history
