Writing a CV

Library Books and Resources

Most libraries have books on careers, CVs and interview techniques - ask the staff if you haven't found them yet. Some libraries have a separate section for information and books on courses and careers, others have CV and interview books filed at 650.14 in the non-fiction section.
Microsoft Word has a number of templates including CV templates.  Although it uses american terminology, the basic template is helpful. Click on the "Word" icon on the desktop then click on each of the following in turn "File", "New", "New from template - General Templates" and then "Other Documents" where you will find a number of "Resume" options.  See Computer Facilities in Libraries.
