The library has a ramp to entrance, is all on one level with wide aisles, has magnifiers available, parking available and a disabled toilet.
This is the main library in the Glenfield area and Sue Johnson, the library manager, is based here. Larger collections can be found at Beaumont Leys and Central Lending in Leicester.

Internet Taster sessions - Many times available, book in now for your free introduction to the internet or email.
Glenfield Omni Project - Service for those with limited mobility. For Glenfield residents with limited mobility there is a three-weekly transport service. This provides volunteer car drivers/escorts to collect people from their homes and take them to the library in order to choose books for loan. Ample time is given for people to make their selection. They are then returned to their home by car. This is on Friday morning every three weeks. The project is run jointly by Blaby District North Volunteer Bureau and Glenfield Library.
