Help shape Oadby library’s next chapter

A new state-of-the-art facility, incorporating all the features of a modern library service, is planned for the heart of Oadby. At Leicestershire County Council we want the views of existing and prospective library users to help form the design of the new building and the services it will offer.
Use your libraryThe new library will be 50% bigger than the existing library and will improve services for library users by providing:
  • additional bookstock for free loan
  • more computers with free internet access
  • a separate room with 10 computers for classes and casual use
  • a new community meeting room
  • a larger area for children
  • dedicated study spaces.
We have started consultation with visitors, local groups and  the community to find out ideas for the new development.  This process will continue until the end of August 2007.

We want your views

If you would like to get involved with shaping the future of the new Oadby library please come along to the existing Oadby library in Sandhurst Street and complete a questionnaire or complete the online version here.
