Melton Reading Group![]() The Melton Reading group meets in Melton Library on the last Tuesday of each month to talk about a book that we have all read, or at least have tried to read! Meetings last for one hour starting at 6.00pm. They are friendly, informal occasions and are open to anyone who wishes to share their own enthusiasm for reading with others.
Whether we like a book or hate it, agree or disagree with other group members, or with the professional critics, we all find we gain more from our own reading experience by listening to other people's views and reactions to a book and also from reading books that we might otherwise never have chosen.
You can get some idea of the range of books we read and talk about, and discover what we thought of them, by looking at titles discussed at previous meetings.
New members are always welcome. If you would like to join us then contact staff at Melton Library. If you cannot get to our meetings but have read the same books then why not join in the discussion by sending us your comments? Why not send us an e-mail
