About the Library

The library is located in the centre of the village near the Co-op.  Ramp or steps to entrance and the library is all on one level.  Car park.
Christina Baker, the library manager responsible for Newbold Verdon, is based at Earl Shilton Library.  Larger collections can be found at Earl Shilton and Hinckley Libraries.

Events/What's On

‘Easter Egg-stravaganza’! – Tuesday 30 March. 10.00am - 11.30 am.
Calling all 5 - 10 year olds - Free event! Why not bring your child along to your local library for a bit of egg-stra fun this Easter, with our ‘Easter Egg-stravaganza’! There’ll be lots of Easter-related activities for your child to enjoy: stories, crafts, a treasure hunt and decorating edible goodies!
Easter Art Competition
Also at your library this Easter from 20 March until 10 April, we will be holding a great Easter Art Competition, ‘What will hatch from your Egg?’ based on Emily Gravett’s great book, ‘The Odd Egg’. Age categories - 0 - 8 years and 9 - 12 years. Great prizes for the most imaginative hatchlings! Call in for an entry form.
Wriggly Readers Story and Rhyme Time.  0-4 years with parents or carers.  Second and fourth Tuesday of each month, 11.00am - 11.30am.
