Ladybird LifeThe colourful story of Ladybird Books over the last century, this exhibition is a celebration of the history of Ladybird Books, which began in Loughborough during World War One. The displays tell the story of the world famous books and the people who made them.
Many examples of books and other material produced by Ladybird are on display, including the Key Words Reading Scheme featuring Peter and Jane, toys made to accompany the Glo Friends, and books in the People at Work series.
There is a Ladybird corner for children and adults to read some of the many titles produced.
