My favourite books as a child were always Roald Dahl books. I loved the pictures they created in my head. I would pick them up and not put them down until I'd read every last word. I go back to them now to see if they still create the same images
- funnily enough they do and I love them for that"
"I really enjoyed reading as a child. I read many different kinds of books from funny stories to stories about peoples lives and why they did what they did, and the journeys that we all face in life.
When I was travelling whilst playing sports, I found that reading was a great way to escape from the rigours of the tennis tour (airports/hotels etc). One of my favourite writers is John Grisham, and I enjoyed his books immensely, they always had great plots, with lots of twists and turns"
