Leicestershire Landscapes

At the Leicestershire Landscapes conference archaeologists working in Leicestershire presented papers covering the landscape history of the shire from the prehistoric to medieval periods. Each chapter provides a fully referenced account of the current state of knowledge, drawing on the work, over 25 years, of the Leicestershire Museums Archaeological Fieldwork Group (LMAFG ). This book will prove an indispensable guide for anyone interested in the archaeology of the region or landscape history in general.picture of the cover of Leicestershire Landscapes
