Partnership for Environmental Protection

The Partnership for Environmental Protection was set up in 1999 as a way of bringing local authorities, agencies and the voluntary sector together to discuss environmental issues, especially the collecting and sharing of information and its use in the planning process.
It is hoped that the PEP may expand to include the major local recording groups and societies whose information is so vital to our knowledge of the local historic and natural environment.
The Officers' Group meets quarterly and there is an annual Board meeting.
