Booklists

Photograph of a woman looking at a book
Everyone has a favourite book that they use again and again. Booklists on a range of topics have been compiled which can be downloaded. The booklists are not recommendations nor definitive but are guides to help you see what is available in particular subject areas.
For natural history field guides you may find that you have to try a few out before finding one that suits you. Children's natural history guides can be a good starting point for the beginner. Remember that your local library may have the titles that you require or be able to order them for you. Second hand book shops are also a good source for heritage and natural history books.
