Drawing inspiration

Drawing inspiration was a series of workshops and sessions which explored different drawing, painting and illustrative techniques with a variety of artists; sessions included Wildlife Drawing, Botanical Drawing and Recording Naturally.

"The classes I attended were great! We learned how to look closely at plants and flowers, and then how to record them in different ways – through painting and drawing etc.  I also met lots of new people who are also interested in preserving our natural heritage and we had lots of fun!”

This project has brought new people to recording wildlife, and many people developed new hobbies and signed up to further training outside of the Community Heritage Initiative.

"Widened my horizons & my expectations.  I've acquired a new hobby!!"
