Regeneration and Community Development

The Regeneration and Community Development Group forms part of Environment and Heritage Services which provides both statutory and discretionary services to over 1.5 million users each year, for Leicestershire residents, rural businesses and for visitors to the county for recreational and leisure purposes. With a total of 30 staff, the Group aims to make a significant contribution to the wellbeing of Leicestershire working within the framework of the Environment and Heritage Service Plan, the County Council Medium Term Corporate Strategy and Leicestershire Together - the Leicestershire Community Strategy. Partnerships and networks are critical to this, across Community Services, corporately and through volunteers, public sector and private alliances in the county and beyond.
