Lafarge have submitted further information in relation to the ROMP (Review of Mineral Permission) submission for Mountsorrel Quarry (reference 2009/C098/02)
The County and City Councils have formally withdrawn the Waste Site Allocations document following receipt of the letter from the Secretary of State directing the authorities to withdraw the Waste Site Allocations document.
The inquiry on the appeal of the decision of the County Council by Biffa Waste Services Ltd. to refuse application 2009/2497/02 has now closed and the decision of the Secretary of State is due on or before 16 April 2012.
