SHIRE Museum Grants
SHIRE Independent Museum Grants are intended to improve the way museum collections
are cared for and made accessible to the public which could include contributions towards the cost of
purchasing equipment, materials or fittings.
Grants put local people at the
heart of community involvement with the choice, decision making and leadership
for community improvements placed firmly with communities themselves. The process is set out in Community
Involvement (pdf).
