This is a free one-stop website for voluntary and community sector funding information and advice.  It includes a searchable database of over 4,000 funding streams. The County Council has supported Leicestershire Together to develop the Leicestershire Funding  Toolkit.

Grants are discretionary with no automatic entitlement to funding. Projects are assessed and allocated in line with criteria and process specific to each fund, subject to availability. If you are dissatisfied with the grant allocation decision or the decision making process, please contact the relevant grant manager in the first instance for clarification. If you remain dissatisfied you have the option of submitting a corporate complaint.

Your SHIRE Community Grant A participatory grant scheme helping local groups and organisations to provide services and activities that support young, old or vulnerable people, help promote their independence and thereby reduce demand for public services.

Playscheme Funding Playscheme funding offers financial help for Playschemes to be run in Leicestershire to provide safe and inclusive care for children through out the summer holidays. Early Learning and Childcare Service
Post 16 Access Fund This funding enables eligible students who live in Leicestershire to stay on in education post 16 years of age. Student Finance
School Cycle Parking Grants A funding opportunity for Leicestershire schools to bid for funding towards school cycle parking School Travel Plans
Special educational needs funding (SEN) - Integrated Playscheme Funding Funding is available for playscheme providers to support the integration of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities into mainstream playschemes. Early Learning and Childcare Service
Special educational needs funding (SEN) - Specialist Equipment Grant Childcare providers may apply (with the agreement of the area Senco) for funding to help employ an additional member of staff for extra support. Early Learning and Childcare Service
Young People - Sir Andrew Martin Trust Young people and voluntary youth organisations may apply for modest grants (£100 - £1000). Applicants need to live or operate in Leicester, Leicestershire and/or Rutland. Sir Andrew Martin Trust for Young People

Carer's Support Fund This Carer's Support Fund is to enable carers to have real time off from their caring role and reduce the impact of caring on their health and well being. Carers Respite
Disabled Facilities Grants Disabled Facilities Grants provide financial help for disabled people who need an adaptation to their home. Home Adaptations
SHIRE Changing Places Grant Changing Places toilets provide sanitary accommodation for people with multiple and profound disabilities who have one or two assistants with them. Standard disabled toilets do not meet the needs of all people with a disability – or their carers.
