Leicestershire Psychology Service One child in twelve is discussed or seen by an educational psychologist at some point in their school life as a result of concerns about their progress in schools. This can only happen with the parents consent.

Parent Partnership This service is designed to ensure that parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) have access to relevant information, advice and guidance. Access to services and advice and information on County wide parent drop in and support groups.
Contact a Family This national and government funded website is a one stop shop for parents of disabled children. Providing answers to questions, whenever you need them.
Family Steps A network of professionals who are able to offer a range of early intervention designed to bring about change within the shortest period possible.
Special Educational Needs (SEN) - A guide for parents & carers The guide sets out the main points of the Code of Practice, explaining procedures and informing parents of their rights.

Special Educational Needs Services

Special Educational Needs Leicestershire Country Council Special Educational Needs Services (SEN) provides a range of support for pupils with (SEN). Support is available for children both in main stream and special schools
Menphys SOS This organisation helps children with complex health needs and SEN aged 0-19 years and their families. It provides early support, facilitating inclusion, helps families access flexible and suitable childcare. Ensures families know about and are referred to appropriate services available to them
Dyslexia Provides support on how you as a parent / carer can help your child.
