Love

So many people have tried to write about love through their music,
But love is a strong word and we no longer think before we use it.
Love itself can be an amazing feeling,
The only problem is it stops us seeing,
We no longer see through our eyes,
When someone we love just falls and dies,
The thing is these people hold our heart,
And when they break up, our hearts just tear apart.
When we are in love,
We forget about the important things like the guy above,
When we fall in love,
We think our lives have a whole new meaning,
We expect for so much, we are always dreaming,
We dream about the ideal world,
In this world we have the ideal boy or girl,
I’m not talking about a Royal,
Just someone who is loyal,
Just someone who loves you just the way you are,
Just someone who will stick with you when things get hard,
Just someone who you can tell your problems,
Just someone for all those special moments,
Just someone you can see and meet,
Just someone you can love for longer than a week,
So this person you may not meet,
If you do not believe this person to exist,
So this is what I believe to be love,
I think that I have said enough,
But if you do meet this person,
To keep the love, do whatever it takes,
Just don’t forget all humans do make mistakes.

Mum

When a man grows up, who is the most important woman in his life?
Is it his sister, mum or wife?
I’m almost 16 years of age,
But I believe that I’m already at a similar stage.
Of course I don’t yet have a wife,
I’m not yet at that point in life.
My mum has done so much for me,
She has given me so much love and made me feel so happy.
Many people have gotten in her way, but that is ok.
Because as I say; every time there is a dark night, there is a brighter day.
The one main thing my mum has made me think about is love,
Like the love we have for the guy above.
Love is such a hard thing to explain at the moment,
Let alone write in a poem.
The love that I have for my mum is unconditional,
It is never-ending and original,
My mum will listen to my truest thoughts and my truest feelings,
She will listen to me complain about my life and its bizarre dealings.
She will listen about the place where I have to stay,
I will tell her about the bad things that go on every day,
Yet even though I will begin in a nasty mood and some times be quite rude,
Somehow she knows how to lift me up,
Somehow she knows how to cheer me up.
How does she know just what to say?
How does she know how to make things right in every way?
When it comes to my mum I have got a lot of respect,
And yes I know she is not perfect but she is impressive.
Well, so who is more important your sister, mum, or your wife?
All I know is that when I see my mum, there is a whole new meaning to my life.

My God

I go to my window, just sit and stare,
I fold my hands, talk to my God and give him a prayer.
I pray to him to protect my mother,
I pray him to keep His mighty hand over my sister and brother.
I begging by saying my name is Jason, I know you know that, Lord, so here is a question.
Why is the world the way it is in the present?
Because I have always believed that you were benevolent, omniscient and omnipresent.
If you have all these powers, why do you allow the world to be so unpleasant?
But he never gives me a direct answer,
He tends to do that in a unique manner.
When I look out my window for that answer, all I see are not answers, just distractions.
The answer is simple; God gave us choice of our actions.
It is our actions that make us bad,
It is our actions that make others sad,
So don’t go to my Lord and give him the blame,
Because in fact the blame is under your name.
I go to my window, just sit and stare,
I fold my hands, talk to my God and give him a prayer.
I don’t want to blame you for the world going wrong,
But I will thank you for helping me stay strong.
