Can I assume my certificate is granted if I don't hear from Leicestershire County Council within a reasonable time?
No. Before a certificate can be obtained a weighbridge operator must be assessed by a Trading Standards Officer. Where a person is deemed to be competent a certificate will be issued which is valid indefinitely for the type of weighbridge being operated. Certificates are issued to an individual and are not transferable. There is no charge for the certificate.
