Request testing
For a reasonable fee we can test most types of weighing equipment. Testing is carried out by qualified weights and measures inspectors in accordance with our quality systems. We can provide a written report giving you and your clients confidence in the accuracy of your equipment to national standards.

Weight hire
We can arrange to supply calibrated weights from 1kg to 3 tonnes.

Other tests we can perform for you  (subject to an hourly fee)
We can carry out tests on your weighing or measuring equipment such as petrol pumps.

Leicestershire Trading Standards Service is a notified body and able to test equipment under the Measuring Instruments Directive and Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments Regulations 2000.
