We’re here to help your business - you say so

Over the last few years, Leicestershire County Council Trading Standards Service (TSS) has been promoting its Free Business Advice Service to county businesses. It is an important aim of the Service to help local businesses to comply with trading law, whilst pursuing those who flout the law. Responses by businesses to the latest Satisfaction Survey on TSS are most encouraging.
Of those businesses replying to each question:
  1. Over 84% now regard TSS as an advisory agency to help their business understand and comply with the law;

  2. 100% consider this to be an important part of TSS work;

  3. 96.4% found it easy to contact TSS;

  4. 100% found the officers courteous & polite at all times;

  5. 96% said that their contact with TSS was helpful and they were fairly treated.
The main challenge now for TSS is to make many more small and medium sized business aware of this free advice service. Advisors are available normal working hours on 0116 305 8000 or by email at tradingstandards@leics.gov.uk.
