Village Halls and Community Centre Projects

Regeneration and Community Development support community groups to improve and develop village halls and community centres for the benefit of communities within Leicestershire.

The group has supported a number of community facility projects, including;

Battram Village Hall
Moira Village Hall
Heather Village Hall
Albert Village Community Centre

Within the Group we have a wide variety of knowledge and experience and good links with other organisations involved with these types of projects.
What can we do to help?
We offer support and assistance in a number of ways;

Project or group discussion about your future scheme and how we can help you move forward.
Assist with consultation to demonstrate community need and support.
Development plans, this includes advice on design, costing, presentation, legal requirements, business plan etc.
Funding and financial support for your project.
Advice on setting up your management group and becoming properly constituted.
Help to create links to other groups and organisations such as Council for Voluntary Sector (CVS), Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), Credit Unions etc.
