Business Continuity Management (BCM)
What is Business Continuity All About?
Business Continuity Management is about identifying those parts of your business that you cannot afford to lose, e.g. stock, premises, information or staff, and planning how to maintain these if a disruption occurs.
Any disruption, whether large or small, force de majeure, accident or deliberate, can have an impact on the delivery of your service/s. Planning in advance for such disruptions will enable your business to return to 'business as usual' a lot quicker. Delays in a return to 'business as usual' could mean the loss of valuable business to your competitors or have reputational repercussions for your business.
Business Continuity Management is about safeguarding your business.
