Equalities Consultation 2012

Leicestershire County Council recently undertook a consultation seeking views on our Single Equalities Action Plan and Community Cohesion Framework (2012-2013), along with the Council's Priority Equality Objectives (2012-2016). The consultation began on Friday 13th January and ran for a ten week period until Friday March 23rd.

This was an important consultation that relates directly to our legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010.

The consultation was aimed at anyone with an interest and involvement in our equality, diversity and community cohesion work. As a result of the consultation, a number of changes have been made and actions added to the Single Equalities Action Plan and Community Cohesion Framework.
