About Enable
Environmental Action for a Better Leicestershire (ENABLE) was a county wide forum for the protection and enhancement of the environment. ENABLE has now ceased it's activity and has been replaced by the Environmental Commissioning Hub.
The pages below are archived for your reference.
ENABLE's mission is "To unite Leicestershire for the protection and enhancement of the environment". In order to reach its vision, the partnership aims to:Enable logo

  • investigate environment issues relevant to the County
  • create, enable and promote action
  • prioritise, set goals and monitor progress
The full partnership now consists of almost 150 members including organisations, businesses and individuals that have a passion for the environment. A Steering Group has been established to help guide the work of the partnership and the Secretariat, which is based in the Climate Action Team in Leicestershire County Council.
