Conservation Volunteers
Conservation volunteering is a great way to keep fit, meet people, learn new skills and to develop your knowledge of the countryside. No previous experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a desire to get involved. All kit, relevant training and safety equipment will be provided. For more information have a look at the work programme for each of the three ranger teams. New volunteers are welcome to come along and join in the conservation tasks, but please get intouch to let us know in advance.- Western Team Volunteer Groups

Country Parks Fishery
Leicestershire County Council Country Parks Fishery consists of 6 individual lakes and double bank stretch of the River Soar on three separate venues: - Watermead: 3 lakes: John Merricks, Lily Pond and King Lear's Lake. Plus a double bank section of River Soar from the Weir at Johnson's Bridge to King Lear's Bridge.
- Snibston Grange Fishery: 2 waters: Carp Lake & Match Lake.
- Market Bosworth Country Park: Bow Pool.
