
Leicestershire Fieldworkers
Leicestershire Fieldworkers Group has, since 1976, undertaken through its local
Groups, an award-winning programme of active archaeological fieldwork throughout Leicestershire. The
Group, in conjunction with Leicestershire County Council Museums Service archaeologists, holds regular
lecture meetings, has its own Newsletter, "The Fieldworker" and provides
training courses for beginners.
The Group also supports the work of archaeologists in both the City and County Museums
Services, including the events programme at Jewry Wall Museum and Donington le Heath Manor House.
